I'm not sure how I feel about the lyrics, but I love the melody. When I first heard the beginning, it seemed like the perfect background music to a romantic scene in Paris or a beautiful island somewhere.

It seems to be a song that expresses the frustrations of being comfortable in lonliness and having that comfort taken unexpectedly as you begin to unwillingly care for another.
