this song is about 2 people who are madly in love with eachother but aren't together for whatever reason. they both have moved on in thier lives but not let go of what they both had. they both miss eachother and still have that chemistry. its hard for him to be with his current gf everytime he hears her (ex") voice all those emotions start bursting and he doesn't want to hurt his new girl cuz he care for her but he doesn't love her he still is in love with his ex but her voice releases his inner flame of desire for her and he can't control thats what he means when he says "and i never want to say goodbye but girl you make it hard to be faithful with lips of an angel". no matter what or where they go or who thier with just by the sound of her voice brings the unite back together

i'm going to clear this up this song isn't about cheating it is about fighting temptation anyone that has been in love and been called by an ex can agree a sent a sound a song will remind you of the good times when you were happy and you would like to have that feeling back he says this in the line my girls in the next room SOMETIMES i wish it was you the part where he sayd and i never wanna say good bye but girl you make it hard to be faithful he is saying i wanna keep talking but i know if i do it will lead to him being un faithful so he is stopping it befor it starts by saying goodbye you will always think of some one you truely love they have molded part of who you are and the whole grass is greener look on life if you listen to the words he is worried cause he doesn't know why she is calling and why she is up set and it is a fucking great song love it

To me, this means he was in love with this other girl and they kinda lost contact and he started dating another girl. He's into her, but not as much as the other girl. He's in love with a girl and they broke up but they're not over eachother, yet they both have a b/f or g/f. He's telling her that he wants her back, but in his own words, but he also likes the girl he's with, but not as much as her. He also doesn't want her talking to him, because he thinks that her b/f will find out and it'll start a fight between them and he doesn't want her to get hurt. It's a really sad and romantic song. Performed great live.

He's got a girlfriend, however he's realy into this other girl but he isnt' sure if it's just a physical attraction or not, none the less he's crazy about her. He knows he shouldn't be with her because she has a boyfriend and he has a girlfriend. Still, he can't help but be attracted to her.

i feel like this song means that even though he is with someone and she is with someone he still loves her and obviously she still cares about him as well they freakin ruled in concert!!! i luv you Austin and Mike!!!

lol...yeah everyone kinda nailed this one first shot...and its not really that hard to understand...love the song anyways, im actually going through that situation right now myself so...yeah
