i dont really agree w/ thetrukillat...like, okay, so his girlfriend has an issue w/ his drug and alcohol habits, hes weighing her down. so she ends it. but shes still in love with him, and hes still in love with her. so basically hes in denial.

Actually, I thinks he's drinking away his pain, wrekked. "Now I know I can’t stay sober Cause you left me here like this." It's a behavior I can understand. I've thought about doing it myself while going through my divorce. Anyway, it's a damn good song. I listen to it often of late.

i really never understood why ignorance was bliss until it actually happened to me. i wont get into it but this song just really hit me.

and the drinking just makes everything go away. and he doesn't want to cope with the fact that the relationship is over.

He's drinking to keep the pain of them breaking up away and he would rather just drink and pretend it's not then deal with it

He is going thru one hell of a rocky relationship and they say don't bottle things up inside when he litterally is,just drinking and it's worse now that he knows with or without it,he's lost her which is basically EVERYTHING to him worth living for

I love this song so much. It basically told my story for about two weeks after my bf broke up with me. I refused to accept it. Got drunk constantly.
