i think the whole album by this name,. and especially this song, are an apology for the way she has behaved in the past! The new cd isn't as "Liz" as we're used to...but i still love it anyway!

This song is about Liz's inability to stay in a relationship. She sees other happily married couples, and wishes for that fairy tale love. She realizes that she actually could have had that if she had worked for it. Instead, she ended the relationship. This little excerpt pretty much sums that up: "Once upon a time I was so restless in love When things we're fine, I changed my mind just because Now I see how wrong and reckless i've been Each frog has a prince just waiting inside of him"
