You Are Fading Lyrics
I'll lose this I always have,
I'll always let you down
I'll lose this I always have,
I'll always let you down
Make your way up to the stars,
It's there where you belong
I'll lose this I always have,
I'll always let you down
Waiting, you are
Fading, you are
Slowly drift off to sleep
Waiting, you are
Fading, you are
Slowly drift off to sleep
Waiting, you are
Fading, you are
Slowly drift off to sleep
I'll always let you down
I'll lose this I always have,
I'll always let you down
It's there where you belong
I'll always let you down
Fading, you are
Slowly drift off to sleep
Fading, you are
Slowly drift off to sleep
Fading, you are
Slowly drift off to sleep

a great song that says "I miss you now, I'll always miss you" Great song
this song never fails to make me cry. but in a good way. i have a feeling its about death, but i read something that Tom Smith (editors lead singer) said "i don't like writing stories" which i think says alot about all their songs. my favourite band, hands down.
definately about someone losing their life.
i love the instrumental harmony in the song. much better then most could ever acheive. definately an influence.
Same theme as most Editors songs - about the passing away of a loved one.
obvious someone who has entered deaths doors and they are not coming back. And the person who is with them starts to remember all the bad things about their relationship with this person.
one of the best ever! obviously about a loved one passing on and the speaker wondering what to do and how to do it.
Too beautiful for any other words. This song deserves a bow, and that is all...
Beautiful.
For me its about someone watching another fall to sleep. To him she is like an angel, perfect. And he knows that he will only let her down, as he did to others in the past. He knows she is waiting for him to be what she deserves, but by being with him she is slowly fading, as he is causing her to be unhappy.
