Release Lyrics

The city is not that far
Made from the sun you are
Oh what a star you are
The city is not that far, that far, that far

Life in black and white
My lord what a perfect sight
I'll lose this, I always do
I'll lose this, I always do

Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love, my love, my love

Life in black and white
My lord what a perfect sight
Made from the sun you are
Oh what a star you are

Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love
Release find your peace my love, my love, my love

The city, the city, the city, the city

Cover art for Release lyrics by Editors

They played live at the last Editors gig I went to and it was absolutely amazing! Have totally fallen in love with it, the lyrics are incredible... definitely one of my favourite Editors tracks.

I love the music. It is really intense. But the lyrics are not that good. I think they are not at the same level. I feel something is missing. It is too simple and too repetitive. The music deserves better lyrics. Anyway, I like to hear it when I'm driving at night. Love the guitar riff when he sings "the city, the city, the city..." It is also simple, but intense.
