Armed to the Teeth Lyrics
Thick green I pushed back
Wading through the thick black
Footprints in the thickest grass
Wolves always find my tracks
A flare, a fire, come on
Just push the leaves away
A flare, a fire, come on
Just push the leaves away
I find myself alone again, alone again
A flare, a fire, come on
Just push the leaves away
A flare, a fire, come on
Just push the leaves away
I find myself alone again, alone again
I find myself alone again, alone again
A flare, a fire, come on
Just push the leaves away
A flare, a fire, come on
Just push the leaves away
I find myself alone again, alone again
I find myself alone again, alone again
Wading through the thick black
Footprints in the thickest grass
Wolves always find my tracks
Just push the leaves away
A flare, a fire, come on
Just push the leaves away
Just push the leaves away
A flare, a fire, come on
Just push the leaves away
I find myself alone again, alone again
Just push the leaves away
A flare, a fire, come on
Just push the leaves away
I find myself alone again, alone again

Weatherbox once posted the lyrics for this song on their myspace. It should be "A flare, A fire come on" and not "a far cry of mine."
ya know, i thought i changed that a while ago. thanks though.
I think this song is about, or at least using the metaphor of, being a wanderer in the wilderness, wading through mud and grass. He tries to avoid predators like wolves. But he can never seem to make his way back to human society. He lights flares and fires, and gets frustrated, like "come on, if you just push the leaves away you'll find traces of me." But he is never found and always alone.
