In Vito Veritas II Lyrics

Tearing up the walls, scratching out her name.
Staring up the walls, dulling up the razor blade.
I'm washing it down.
Watch me call the port on.

I'm washing it down. Watch me fall.
It's the shock of the sound of the ants.
to carry me off towards home.

I'm better now, not behind the eyes.

This is a highly metaphoric song...or maybe it has no sense, but it really decorate my day. It could be about a girl, the pain within a break up.... maybe about a whole life of memories... running trough a agonic mind. Great great song ... u should hear it.

The title in Latin means "In wine, (there is) truth". I read something on their website saying that this was about losing a relationship because of something that was said while drunk.

I definitely believe this is about the loss of a relationship due to drunkness. The "Port" refered to during the song is talking about wine. Though the lyrics seem (and title) seem to point to an epiphany during drunkness. It seems like he's already lost this girl. I mean the whole part of tearing/staring up the walls comes before washing it down. Maybe it's simply self-medicating. He drinks merely to forget this girl, but can't because in his while he drinks he realizes he still loves her.
