It wasn't even recorded by Elliott...
I peronally think this is kind of scary.
Yeah me too. I skip it when I'm listening to the album because it creeps me out. Especially when I fall asleep with my headphones in.

I agree with you guys. I think Ostrich & Chirping is one of the creepiest tracks ever.

I think that if Elliott chose the tracks it WOULD be better. It would be more meaningful, with songs like True Love and stuff... Have MUCH more insight.
Because it's peaceful and blends into the begining of "twilight"
yeah, what happened is elliott died before they released this album so they gave all the tracks ever to be recorded for this CD and gave it to the family so they can choose which song goes ont he CD etc etc.
The family actually took out a lot of elliotts most meaningful songs, particaulary the songs he talks about his all out 01-02 drug binge, how he overcame rehab by 03 etc etc, this song was recorded by a friend, it wasn't even elliotts. a lot of people say this CD, 'a basement on a hill' would've been completely different and better had elliott still been in charge of it.
i like "from a basement..." but i think it would be better if elliott had been the one who chose all the songs and such. i don't think that "ostriches & chirping" would be on the cd either. but that's just me.
the track listing was chosen by his family but this song has nothing to do with elliott i think it was one of the producers who was just fooling around and left this lying around and his family decided to include it
OMGWTFLOOL ITS NOT EVEN ELIUTS WTF
who cares, it's still the best album elliott ever made
I just think it's stupid that someone was careless enough to accidently put this on the album. Ridiculous.
if elliott chose the tracks it would a double disc with all the music he intended to be on it, on it.
