Yeah, they talk about it in AP. They sound VERY much like Panic! At the Disco. But Dance, Dance is a Fallout Boy Song. Both those bands are on the same label, i think its one of them. Probs F.O.B.
this song (i feel) is directed towards Fall Out Boy (hense the whole "Dance, Dance" reference) I've been told that Pete Wentz heard about the idea of their song while writing "Under the Cork Tree..." and decided to use it as his own. Unfortuntaly for the Audition, FOB's album was coming out before theirs so they had to change the idea around bc their song/ song idea was stolen. So they used this opperunity to write one about how they felt about what happened and it's my favorite song on the record (go buy it, bitches!)
I don't think the song is necessarily directed towards falloutboy. I think all that shit happened just recently. theaudition was pissed that falloutboy kind of "borrowed" their dance dance thing or whatever, and said something about it. And by the way, Falloutboy sucks and the audition sounds NOTHING like panic at the disco.
Fall out boy stole that song from them... I know the lead singer(danny)! He is dating my best friends sister deana.... Danny knows the drummer from fallout boy... and they stole the song... and danny and the band was gonna see what they could do but the drummer said it would make no since cuz they have better lawyers...
