Bombs Over M.O.M. Lyrics
I have no language except my own
I have a mother keeps me safe and warm
Just now a bird crashed into our house
Still in her arms I see the black sky coming down
Nobody ever asks what I think
And if they did I could not speak
I have no control I have no control
All the walls are falling falling down
Falling falling
I have a mother keeps me safe and warm
Just now a bird crashed into our house
Still in her arms I see the black sky coming down
And if they did I could not speak
I have no control I have no control
Falling falling

Could be about the WTC attack. About the illusion of the country (USA) being shielded both physically and mentally from the threat of any type of military attack. The mother representing the government. The bird (plane) crashed into our house, the black sky coming down (the smoke and debris) etc..
"Nobody ever asks what I think" (American citizens) "And if they did I could not speak" (votes don't make much of a difference these days) etc., etc..
Could be about terrorist attacks on anyone but I think LS dealt a lot with modern American issues. Seems like it was written from a child's perspective to represent the rather "in the dark" American public. And yes, I live in the States.
Just my interpretation. I actually came here to post more lyrics. :)
