Why Don't You Find Out for Yourself? (Morrissey cover) Lyrics
The sanest days are mad
Why don't you find out for yourself?
Then you'll see the price very closely
Some men here
They have a special interest in your career
They want to help you to grow
And then siphon all your dough
Why don't you find out for yourself?
Then you'll see the glass hidden in the grass
You'll never believe me
So why don't you find out for yourself?
Sick down to my heart, that's just the way it goes
Some men here
They know the full extent of your distress
They kneel and pray and they say
Long may it last
Why don't you find out for youself?
Then you'll see the glass hidden in the grass
Bad scenes come and go
For which you must allow
Sick down to my heart, that's just the way it goes
Don't rake up my mistakes
I know exactly what they are
And what do you do
Well, you sit there
I've been stabbed in the back
So many many times
I don't have any skin
But that's just the way it goes
Why don't you find out for yourself?
Then you'll see the price very closely
They have a special interest in your career
They want to help you to grow
Why don't you find out for yourself?
Then you'll see the glass hidden in the grass
So why don't you find out for yourself?
Sick down to my heart, that's just the way it goes
They know the full extent of your distress
They kneel and pray and they say
Why don't you find out for youself?
Then you'll see the glass hidden in the grass
For which you must allow
Sick down to my heart, that's just the way it goes
I know exactly what they are
And what do you do
Well, you sit there
I've been stabbed in the back
So many many times
I don't have any skin
But that's just the way it goes

i love this song...i just downloaded it...they've got it on kazaa lite, winmx, limewire... oh btw it's a morrisey cover, in case you didn't know...and it's obviously about newcomers being treated badly in the music industry. i don't think there are any secret meanings to this one.
mine's a radio session, not rlli sure where its frum. I like the sanest days are mad, tis sooo true!! I dnt rlli think there are secret meanings in anyof their songs, they just write what will sell and sumtimes they have a story sumtimes they dnt! dont read too much into them otherwise you lose the true meaning of a great song with good lyrics!!
Brandon's voice has never sounded better!
i rekon he had like a cold or flu when he sang this song. sounds different....but in a good way :)

I agree Xtina, the synths kill some songs a-la Everything Will Be Alright
Wow...really good Morrissey cover. This song is about how people in the music industry care about one thing, which is money. Morrissey is warning other bands that being big isn't all its cracked up to be. Those in the music industry will stop at nothing to rake in the cash without even taking into consideration the amount of stress it puts on the artist.
Nvrm heard it. :)
I agree with XtinaB. His voice sounds so soothing.
Its not as good as the Morrissey version (but then again what Moz cover could ever be as good as the one true Moz) but I still enjoy it a whole lot. :)
