Its awesome! I also got to know this band because of prey. I said to my dad: hey thats a good song and he just turned on the music louder and i just fell for it hahaha lol :D its hard to find lyrics of this band really... i really want the lyric of the song wilted... but cant find it... i guess i will have to type it myself hahaha :P See ya!

I think the references to the guy with the silver dagger refer to Romeo of Romeo & Juliet. It's been awhile but didn't he kill himself with a dagger b/c he thought Juliet was dead? But really she had taken something to make it look like she was dead. And when she woke up she found her Romeo dead which in turn lead her to killing herself?

I think it's about a guy who either still loves an ex-girlfriend or a girl who doesn't return his love. I think "I'm sorry I can't love you" could have two possible meanings. One, this is either sarcasm b/c she doesn't think he can truly love her like she wants. The other is that he's not supposed to love her and it's killing him. The whole silver dagger thing shows how much he is willing to do to show her he really does love her. If he kills himself for her then maybe she'll finally see how much he loves her and realize how much she loves him.

There's no chance in hell the song is about him, but when I first heard it, I was reminded so much of Elliott Smith and his life. His whole musical career was overshadowed by intense depression and alcoholism and feelings of never been understood or accepted anywhere. His life ended too young when he got into an argument with his girlfriend and stabbed himself in the chest in front of her to prove a point. Weirdness. What a gorgeous song though, no matter the inspiration.

Anyways, I think this song is about a couple where one of them has fallen out of love with the other person. They can't get them to see who they are now while the other person is desperately trying to get them to love him/her back. If that made any sense... ^^

This song is very good...only song ive heard from them. This song is used in the credits in the PC game Prey...such a good song..i believe its on a soundtrack,"Bite me, music inspired by Prey.

in prey at least in the ending... Tommy defeats the end boss...and then goes to the land of the ancients, where he sees the spirits of his grandfather and girl-friend...they died in the alien invasion...he wants to stay with them, but they insist he go live his life...he wants to stay but its just not his time...

I also heard this song through playing Prey. Great game, I was surprised even more with the credits/song. I'm interested in the band, trying to come in possession of more of their work. >.> By the way, in relation to Wulfe's post up top, I understand the theory.

i would have to agree with what wulf had to say in that i believe that yea they both broke apart or something happened and one takes the high raod and wants to move on and the other can't handle it but then the truth comes out at the end

I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!! This band is so frickin amazing. I love this song. I love the lyrics and Iove the vocals. I love it, love it, LOVE IT!!!!!

It's not "I'm always getting lost...." it's "every time I'm lost, I'm always findind my way back to you....." and it's not "Because killing yourself with a silver dagger just to show how much you love her...." it's "killing yourself with a silver dagger just to show how much her love is worth the pain...."

At least that's how I hear the lyrics.....
