Come Here Lyrics

There's a wind that blows in from the north,
And it says that loving takes its course.
Come here. Come here.
No I'm not impossible to touch,
I have never wanted you so much.
Come here. Come here.
Have I never laid down by your side?
Baby, let's forget about this pride.
Come here. Come here.
Well, I'm in no hurry.
You don't have to run away this time.
I know that you're timid,
but it's gonna be all right this time.

The best moment in Before Sunrise was when the scene with this song came up - a great sequence. Simple song but its emotion is quite apparent, one of the best folk singer songwriter songs I've ever heard.

I'd previously suffered from debilitating shyness. On more than one occasion I'd been on a date and things progressed to where we both should have been rolling around in ecstasy… but I was too shy to even kiss her. Those girls must have thought "what's wrong with that guy" or perhaps what was wrong with them. With work I have overcame that shyness quite well, some may say TOO well… LOL!
