Push The Button Lyrics
Don't have to think about it
I Wanna kiss and
Everything around it
But he's too distant
I wanna feel his body
I can't resist it
But how obvious should a girl be?
I was taken by the early conversation piece
And I really like the way that he respect me
I wonder if he knows that he can say it and I'm with it
I knew I had my mind made up from the very beginning
Catch this opportunity so you and me could feel it 'cos
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control
I'm kind of showing off for his full attention
My sexy ass has got him in the new dimension
I'm ready to do something to relieve this mission
He came on through and asked me if I wanted to get with him
I knew I had my mind made up from the very beginning
Won't miss this opportunity so you and me could feel it 'cos
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control
You’re still not getting it
Now that you’ve heard everything I have to say
Where we gonna go from here?
He came over and asked me if I wanted to get with him
I knew I had my mind made up from the very beginning
Won't miss this opportunity so you and me could feel it 'cos
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
You're gonna miss the freak that I control
(I control)
(For me boy)
You'd better push the button and let me know
Before I get the wrong idea and go
(Oh, oh)
You're gonna miss the freak that I control
People obviously don't realize that Sugababes are not musicians. They don't write lyrics. Their songwriters do. They are male, in the age of 35-40 perhaps. This song doesn't mean shit. It's made to make money of 12 year olds.
The girl is waiting for the guy to ask her out by “pushing the button” before she goes - probably moving away. She has been dropping hints for a while. He eventually asks her and she says yes.
@CaramelMusic What a great guy! :)

This song is the best hahhaa
Catchie song. Makes me wanna dance.
this video is veryyyyyyyyyy sexual. In a good way, though. But i love the song too, and i agree with tyler2004durden. But i think it is basically about a girl who shows that flirts all the time, etc. with a guy, but he just doesnt get the message, so its sort of an ultamatum (is that how you spell it?)
its about a girl wanting a guy, she thought she was being obvious but he just wasn't getiing it. now she just wants to know for sure whether he wants her or not, last chance.
What is the button that the guy has to push?
Starsailor sang this on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, man he sang it pretty well, I liked it a lot! They also did One Thing and Independent Women pt 1, those three were greatly done. It's cool when men sing those catchy sexy songs sung originally by women, like Travis on Britney's hit me one more time and Snow Patrol's Crazy In Love,
wrong, I meant Elbow on One Thing and Independent Women pt 1, Starsailor did only Push the Button, and Incubus' take on No Scrubs was fun as hell
I love this song. Mutya's voice is really nice. Same with Heidi & Keisha (sp?), but Mutya is just wow. It's a shame she left the band though. I'm not too pleased with Amelle, but I'll always be a fan of the Sugababes.
& about the song.. I agree with yellow_flowers, it's about a girl who keeps dropping hints (that she wants him, obviously), but the guy didn't get it. Yup. =)
