Lumen Lyrics

wash out your eyes
you've seen the dirty place
I can't disguise
all of my longings

sometimes in the night
I feel your breathing
and I want to eat your light
for you to be inside me

where's my head I swear I saw it
rolling over there
I'm falling further than
I have ever been

horizon's on fire

I'll find a hiding place
I can't deny
all of your longings

the flame is getting low
and you're in my window
if you can find me now
you can have my body

where's your head
I swear I saw it
rolling over there
you're burning brighter
than I have ever seen

Aside from the overly-simple, lyric-less, descending chords section, this could be a Radiohead song. Do I mean that as a compliment? Hell yes.

Yet again, Akron Family explains my experiences to a tee.

How do I relate to it? Well, it reminds me of someone who thought only lust existed between us, which had me to think that I was evil, but in the end I see she was projecting it onto me.

He's talking to God. The emptiness and longing he's feeling is not something that can be filled by another human being.

I listen to these guys when I'm very high...

I just melt into whatever I'm sitting in. Everything becomes more beautiful.

I think the song is really sad though. Lumen means a cavity. It's about feeling empty and wanting to let everything go.
