Time Out From The World Lyrics
Breathing in your sip of gold
I follow all your little lines
I like to watch a thousand times
I want to feel you here
I like to watch a thousand times
I make a shrine for you
Time out from the world
Leaving it all
Just for a day
You like there's a dawn
Hold me and round
Take us a day?
Here I go I'm going back
On every word you ever said
I'm dreaming of another time
Yesterday my alibi
We changed the world just you and I
I make a shrine for you
I follow all your little lines
I like to watch a thousand times
I want to feel you here
I like to watch a thousand times
I make a shrine for you
Time out from the world
Leaving it all
Just for a day
You like there's a dawn
Hold me and round
Take us a day?
Here I go I'm going back
On every word you ever said
I'm dreaming of another time
Yesterday my alibi
We changed the world just you and I
I make a shrine for you

Beautiful song
I love the atmosphere created by the song. Really is 'supernatural' like in your in a world of spirit or something. Except you don't have to die first to get there!
I really love this song. The remix is great also but this version is just glamorous.
I think it's about someone missing a person, who has passed on. Talking about making a shrine to them, is like that they haven't gotten over their death yet.
I could see it being about missing a person also. I could also see the song being from a stalkers point of view or just a distant admirer.
Personally I always thought this song would make a great opening theme for a 007 film. It reminds of some of the great songs from the older opening sequences.
for sure the song is about missing someone, dead or otherwise, someone who was integral to your life, with this person gone, you feel separate from the world, all you can do is think/dream/fantasize about your time with this person now that they're gone.
Great song!
I agree with PmcG No.6, would make a great Bond song...reminds me of You Only Live Twice with the Orchestration.
