From Oakland to Warsaw Lyrics
You lost your serve
You lost your swing
You thought you'd heard of everything
Hell no
From Oakland to Warsaw
Don't you know the kids were all wrong
Raise their voices in song
Air comes out, air comes out
I know your style
You've got drastic desires and shit
Warm yourself by the fiery stage
Fiery 'cause I lit it
You lost your swing
You thought you'd heard of everything
Hell no
From Oakland to Warsaw
Don't you know the kids were all wrong
Raise their voices in song
Air comes out, air comes out
I know your style
You've got drastic desires and shit
Warm yourself by the fiery stage
Fiery 'cause I lit it

OH my God.
I have never heard such a beautiful song before in my life. I absolutely LOVE this song.
The way I interpret it, is an answer to the prayers of people who are hurt in life.
Hurt b/c of the "air (that) comes out" of the kids (who were "all wrong" (about you).
Hurt b/c they "lost their swerve" and "lost their swing".
He says he "knows your style" your "drastic desires". Like he understands that you want more in this life then you're getting.
When he says "you thought you'd heard of everything", I think he means to say, you think its just the bad stuff, but HELL NO ,there's good in this world too.
"Warm yourself by the fiery stage" (Get better, heal up, fix yourself) "Fiery' cause I lit it" (for you, to make you feel better).
I love how Daniel Bejar isn't afraid to sound corny. I think I detect a zither somewhere in this song. Am I right?
hahaha. nobody else could ever pull off a line like "fiery, 'cause i lit it" like dan bejar.
