if i'm not totally wrong, this song is about a guy who betrayed his girlfriend ("here i lay beside the angel of betrayal" ... "i threw it all away when i lied to you").
she left him and now he's begging for another chance ("i can't bring you back" ... "i've done wrong but could you forgive me?").
anyone of another opinion?
