i really like this song.
It looks like he broke up with her and now wants her back but she does not. Is the "nose clean" a cocaine reference? Maybe he's really into the drug scene.

I think she's confused about how she feels about him; the lyrics variously suggest that she wants to stay away from him and at other points, that she wants to get in touch, or even that she wishes they could be in a relationship. I think lokithecat is right about the cocaine reference. Whatever the meaning, it's a brilliant song!

she has someone new, and she's choosing to stay with them instead of going back to old ways. she wishes he would have confessed his love to her sooner but he always kept his feelings inside. and she obviously got tired, but still thinks about it.
