Left for Dead

I always assumed this song was about a bitter divorce, but now I'm reading the lyrics a bit closer and it might be specifically about the bitter divorce of a mother and father, where the mother left the family behind in the pursuit of money.

I was wondering if it was about Andols & his girlfriend & how he left the band for her, i dunno if they are still together, but if they are not, this sure would justify Marks lyrics, how Andols left the band for her & everything, I imagine i would be a little pissed if i was Mark & found out she left him...

i think the song's about how high the worth of materialistic things is for some people compared to a human life in nowadays world.

As much as i LOVE Chimaira, half of their lyrics are horrible.

The song is about Judas and his betrayal. In my opinion.

It sounds like sending someone (father) to the "old folks home."

I definitely think the song is about a divorce between fathers. Clearly the mother has left the father for a richer man or 'Money Instead'. He doesn't understand how his mother could do that to the family 'How could you' etc. The idea of his mother leaving for another man would link in to [Divination] as well. 'Fake fucker, fake father die' clearly showing dislike for a step-father or whatever.

Just some observation.
