I was going to say that this is my favorite Ray Lamotagne song, but I say that about every one of his songs. I'm smitten with his music.

ray lamontagne is absolutely wonderful <3 the only line i can't really figure out the meaning of within the context of the song is, "and the love you gave was way down south". any insights?

it could very well be a sexual reference, but the song seems too pretty.
