that line pretty much sums up the meaning
I agree with you,I thought it's another "Broken Heart Ballad" but it's a very positive song,one of the best off the album

I Will Not Fall For You
I am not religious but this is one of a few songs with religious connotations by taproot. Not that I am complaining but it is a pleasant change from the usual taproot subject matter of girlfriend/boyfriend troubles (makes me think of my X too much.)
