I think this song is about David and Goliath. "Cower behind your juggernaut," when Goliath was slain, I believe the Philistines all fled, their hope all lying on this one man, their most powerful fighter and, put simply, a giant. "One shot ends this war," and one shot was all it took. One, single stone from David's sling put the Philistine's champion face first in the dirt, illustrated by "Fall, the earth now greets your end." "Fall, by faith and stone laid down." Haha, need I say more?
Ichabod, I believe you're correct. Gath was a main city in Philistia, and was Goliath's home city. I never connected the Fall parts to the story....Or the "One shot ends this war" part either. Good going.
This is by far the best song on their CD. It's so flippin' sweet when they all screem together. And if you didn't know, the part where the say "You were married to your destruction.....", that is the lead vocalist from The Chariot. If you haven't heard the The Chariot, check the out.
