I'm pretty sure that "Warm Panda Cola" is not the brand name. I think that the brand is just Panda Cola, and that "warm" would just happen to be the genereal temperature at which the drink is in the context of the song.

I'd love a Warm Panda Cola right about now...

I'm pretty sure this song says:

Warm Panda Cola Butter melting in the sun

As for meaning, I think it's nothing more than another happy song. I think in an interview, they mentioned the fact that it's some Coca-cola knock off you can or used to be able to get in the UK.

Ah, Panda Cola. I'm not sure if it's still about either, but this used to form a staple part of my Saturday nights out to my local pub/cricket club with my Dad when I was a kid. It came in the most funky colours of any drinks brand ever.

Is this a UK thing? I have never heard of Warm Panda Cola...?

According to the bandmembers, Warm Panda Cola is a cheap imitation of CocaCola sold in the UK that is usually not consumed by adults.

Mmm...Panda cola. They had a whole range of drinks called Panda pops. They all tasted like rubbish and were filled with more E-numbers than a bottle of food colouring, and came in tiny bottles that weren't really enough to quench your thirst. I remember I once had a green cola.

Anyhoo, as for the song, as with many Boy Least Likely to songs, it is an hommage to childhood (by mentioning the Panda cola). No idea about the mountain part though.

This song is addictive, I must have listened to it for hours on end.

They still exist! :D Though I have to say the cola is more than a bit naff. The Strawberry Jelly & Ice Cream flavour is so the best.
