Not really shure what this song is about, but if anything I'd have to say ChrisfishA id pretty close once again. I just think his significant other has been away for a while. Perhaps there was a fight or argument.

I agree with the other comments as well. I really think that someone he loved did pass away. When he says:

"When I wake up All bottled up A ray of sunshine tells me I am not alone"

Maybe "a ray of sunshine tells me I am not alone" means it's the person he loves looking down on him from heaven and she's trying to make her presence known by being the warmth or ray of sunshine that shines down on him in the morning. Maybe trying to say that even though she's not physically there with him he can still feel her. I don't know just a thought! Beautiful but sad song.

I've come to believe that his love has passed. She's been dead for "two long days" and he's been drinking away his pain. He's really missing her and has been falling apart ("coming unglued"). He knows that by that "ray of sunshine" (sunshine meaning that she is up in heaven looking down) she will always be there but that isn't good enough and he feels like he's in hell without her. He's saying he will always be hers.

Idk, thats all i can pull from it. I dont get the "And there’s the window that I deny" part but thats one of my favorite parts in the song. Any one else know?

I love the "When you’re gone, I sleep alone And there’s the window that I deny" lyric. To me, window means window of opportunity ie other women.
