“Can’t out run the family” these lyrics to me have always stuck out as someone trapped within an abusive home, whether thats verbally or physically. Hearing the lyrics repeated “I love family” has always given me an insight that someone has been manipulated so much in their home that their mind has filled the negative place with an immense love. All of these positive lyrics about the family seem to be the person trying to convince themselves that their family is amazing and filled with such love even though it is FAR from that.
