In loving Memory Lyrics

You said yourself before (fore).
Where are you (you)?
I'm needing you much more (more).
I bet you never knew.
Now everything, is gonna fall apart.
I need you here, not just in my heart.

This wasn't how it's supposed to be.
(In loving memory)
And now I'm torn with misery.
(In loving memory)
I won't forget you please don't me.
(In loving memory)
This wasn't how it's supposed to be.
(In loving memory)

You said yourself before (fore).
Where are you (you)?
Face down on the floor (floor).
I bet you never knew.
Now everything, is gonna break again.
If you just began, why did you have to end?

This wasn't how it's supposed to be.
(In loving memory)
And now I'm torn with misery.
(In loving memory)
I won't forget you please don't me.
(In loving memory)
This wasn't how it's supposed to be.
(In loving memory)

(It won't go away. It won't go away.
It won't go away. It won't go a-way.
It won't go away. It won't go away.
It won't go away. It won't go a-way.)
IT WON'T GO AWAY!

This wasn't how it's supposed to be.
(In loving memory)
And now I'm torn with misery.
(In loving memory)
I won't forget you please don't me.

This song is about suicide of the singer's friend, family member, or significant other.

The song implies some blame to the person when it says "facedown on the floor I bet you never knew". The only time you blame someone for their own death is if they commited suicide. When he said "face door on the floor" it implies death.

Exactly how i feel now. I love this person... but he moved to Australia in January and i never told him how i feel about him. But he used to feel the same way about me before. Then i rejected him cos i didn't feel the same at the time. What a mistake. It's like a have a huge stone in my stomach that weighs me down. Regret. A BIG regret. Now he's drugging himself in Australia somewhere. And i think he's dead cos he hasn't IMed me lately at all and hasn't been online. I love him. He'll never know that now, will he? Unless he's still alive, which i really really hope he is. So this song brings tears to my eyes whenever i hear it.
