Taste the Last Girl Lyrics
Too much you need
Too much you need
Oh he’s a genuine boy with a guilty smile
Hands to pull you forward faster
You and your game is not the answer
Not on your own
Too much you need
Too much you need
Oh he’s a genuine boy with a guilty smile
Had to fool you forward faster
You’re smashing heads and breaking ladders
All on your own
You're further on
But you can taste the last girl
She’s the servant to the master
Oh now you're on your own
Too much you need
Too much you need
Oh he’s a genuine boy with a guilty smile
Hands to pull you forward faster
You and your game is not the answer
Not on your own
Outrun yourself to find the next
You’ll take what’s coming
Catch your own death
All on your own
Too much you need
Too much is greed
He’s a genuine boy with a guilty smile
Too much you need
Oh he’s a genuine boy with a guilty smile
You and your game is not the answer
Not on your own
Too much you need
Oh he’s a genuine boy with a guilty smile
You’re smashing heads and breaking ladders
All on your own
But you can taste the last girl
She’s the servant to the master
Oh now you're on your own
Too much you need
Oh he’s a genuine boy with a guilty smile
You and your game is not the answer
Not on your own
You’ll take what’s coming
Catch your own death
All on your own
Too much is greed
He’s a genuine boy with a guilty smile

I really love this song, my favourite Sons and Daughters son! I think this may be about a relationship gone kinda wrong or maybe the girl is falling for a guy who she knows is too much work...
these lyrics are seriously amazing. i believe that this song is about one guy who gets with a lot of girls. refering to the line, "but you can taste the last girl", just like being able to still feel her presence after she is gone since it was not too long ago.
dontyastop, i think you're quite right. Never thought of it in that way.
