Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
I can't recall exactly what Megaman 2 songs The Minibosses included in their medley, but the people who composed the MM2 songs were Manami Ietel, Ogeretsu Kun, and... um... Yuukichan's Papa.
I don't find anything ridiculous in liking the music in Megaman 2, some of those tracks really kick ass in my opinion. Something I find a bit weird though, is adding a band doing, as far as I know, only covers of _instrumentalsongs to a lyrics website.
I know this site is for song meanings, obviously, but it is often used for other purposes, such as stating how much these songs kick serious ass. Exactly like I am compelled to do right now after discovering (I'm late I know) this fantastic group.

Excellent video game music + the great musicians of minibosses playing it live in a heavy metal style = awesomness

For example, one time a friend of mine described to me the whole rise of Cthulhu that was "narrated" in an instrumental song (don't remember the name or band though, it was a long time ago) of course he was on drugs but, hey, this is a site about music...

I don't care how ridiculous it sounds, the guy who did the Megaman 2 soundtrack is one of my favorite songwriters.
