I love this song and feel that it is about unrequited love from the perspective of the persona.
I think the lyrics have been typed up wrong though, sorry.
Instead of:
"In a world of negatives, you find happiness Happiness sit for days, eating nothing but my head"
I think it's supposed to be:
"In a world of negatives, you find happiness Haven't been this sick for days, eating nothing but my head"
whoohoo first to comment... i think this song is about a relationship OBVIOUSLY. about a relationship that is basically doomed, though he'll "be holding on to this sweet love", he feels "walls" like he's trapped. I love this song because it is so simple yet you can feel the emotion as he sings. I also love the violin solos... a very powerful song.

I think it means that the other person wants out of the relationship and doesn't love him anymore but he still does. He feels trapped because he still wants them but can't have them and can't get them out of his head. Much like indie said.

I don't know why everyone seems to think that it goes "Happiness sit for days". That does not make sense.
I believe it actually goes:
"I've been this sick for days, eating nothing but my head"
When you're sick for days, you tend to not eat anything, wasting away (eating away at own head).
