Bananaman Lyrics
I'm the bananaman, I go uppa that tree
I go downa that tree, I go home for me tea
I'm the bananaman, and I drink me Coca Cola
And I play me rock'n'rolla down by the sea
Everybody like banana..
I go downa that tree, I go home for me tea
I'm the bananaman, and I drink me Coca Cola
And I play me rock'n'rolla down by the sea

ive seen people throw batches of bananas on stage when this is played...the singer then hands them out to people in the crowd... :)
Written for either Glen's little brother, or his cousin.
never heard this but it sounds friggin hilarious. can't imagine wot glen sounds like singin this lmao
I have a recording of this from the Róisín Dubh, Galway on 19/05/03. In the Intro, Glen says
"I wrote this song for my niece because she thinks all the Frames songs are depressing. She was in my room hassling me to play her a song, and everything I played, she didn't like. So, I started just jamming and sang these lyrics about a Banana Man, and she was like 'That’s it....That’s your fcking hit!'. And she was fucking right! This is called Banana Man and it will never be on a Frames record!"
Hilarious song!
