I think that the writer is saying that him and his lover were frowed upon regarding their relationship, in whatever sort of way, so they decided to end their lives so that they could be together forever without having to put up with other people's discrimination. Chances are I'm way off, but oh well. Great song, nonetheless.

He hates his life, wnt to die but there are some things he want to take with him, it's about dying and taking all you love with you

this song in my view is the best ever made. Will made the lyrics go together perfectly it is the easiest song for me to relate to. I believe he wants to die and so does his girlfriend. By sining this song he's assuring her they'll still be together even after they die (Hold my hand you're so beautiful let's escape from this life and end it all on three we're jumping from this ledge this building's tall I'm sure we'll wake up dead but I still love her) is saying he loves her and says is gonna be ok when they die! this song is #1 i wouldnt be surprises if it was their next single!

i think this will be the new single after die romantic, also i think the song has another meaning other that the pair commiting suicide, i could be wrong but i could be correct, for me this could be about a couple that are together but the guy has to finish the relationship because they're relationship is dieing so if he ends it now (kill it instantly) it mite not be as painful as watching it die,

so basically i think this song is about suicide but to the relationship, people commit suicide because they feel life cant get much worse or they are dieng and will die eventually and just want to get it over with, maybe thats what happend in the relationship, the girl made the relationship so bad she was killing it and it couldnt get much worse so he decided to simply kil it off,

though you can find different explanations if you hope that this song is metaphorical, its obvious this song is about suicide and that is what i think its about. good analyzation though asdfq ;)
