oh this song is sad! i dont really like it...

Clearly this song is about a couple who is in love but has to have some space but for me it represents something else.... my boyfriend is leaving this summer and i am practically hysterical and i cry every time i hear it. cause there really isn't any easy way to say goodbye....

yes this song is really sad! to me, it sounds like it's about a ex boyfriend and girlfriend that deeply love each other but for some reason, they feel that they can't be together due to the hurtful things from their past relationship....ah and i can relate to that so well cause yea....love has it's funny ways in working...it hurts so bad to hang on but for some odd reason you can't let go...

For me, this is the best song on the album. Surprising that only three comments have been made on it.

Seems like it's the type of song where the singer has to leave, but at the same time, doesn't really want to. He doesn't want to leave her, and saying "goodbye" would be final, as if they'd never be able to get together again. He doesn't want that finality in his words, as illustrated when he says "tomorrow's on its way..." possibly hinting at some day he may come back.

But, what do I know?

I agree with DoubtFull. I was going to go through and be very specific about it, but one; I'm not in the mood, and two; they pretty much explained it, DoubtFull did.

This song makes me very emotional, and it's my favorite song on Greetings From Imrie House.

great song. Itz like the guy iz leaving somewhere and he lovez this girl, whos torn, and he knows how difficult it hurts to say goodbye, 4 both of them-hence the baby just say goodnight.

I agree with all of you! I just love that guy's voice... I can hear the sadness and hurt in it. Such a beautifully recorded song.
