this submission is missing some crucial lyrics after last chorus:

Then chorus repeats twice.

This whole thing about what momma would think of her boy is totally haunting and dark and gives me chills whenever i hear it. the song morphs into something profoundly painful for those few phrases. which is so intense because it's this lovely, happy, trippy tune up to that point. makes me think momma was cruel to him and now he's rubbing it in her face as he frolics along in a drug-induced state of bliss. maybe i'm reading way too far into it but that's what it feels like. Amazing song.

anyone reckon the she could be a popstar or an actress or some hot model in an advert? that would make it a great critique of consumerism etc and also maybe give an explanation for the if your momma could see you now lines?

tis about a guy who idolises a girl but is innocent in a fairly crucial way. "when she goes trippin, i go fallin over is a prime example. her meaning is euphemism, his is literal. he loves her and her lifestyle but doenst know what it means.
