We're on a search to find the feeling
For which we all die
It appeared, the answer to the problem
And a reason to smile

Two lost hearts and one caught in the middle
They came together and the other fell apart
It appeared, the answer to the problem
I have no reason to smile

The connection, eyes meeting
Lips touching screaming 'sweet sianara'
And the other gracious sounds of Claudio
Swear, spit and teas unchanged alike
Mistakes made and forgiveness
But the eyes still met, and the lover still loved
And the liar still lied
Then came the downfall
To one's heaven stuck
In a world where nothing is beautiful
The nail was on the coffin
It hadn't been buried
Yet nothing but an open casket for him to knell and weep

It's come together its time
To change what the script reads
There's no such thing as happy endings this masterpiece is finally ending slowly microphone psychiatry
Good-bye for good

It's come together its time
To change what the script reads
There's no such thing as happy endings this masterpiece is finally ending slowly microphone psychiatry

Two lost hearts and one caught in the middle
They came together and the other fell apart
It appeared, the answer to the problem
I have no reason to smile

Cravings fulfilled
Hate on oneself
Good-bye for good

I am so confused. I actually went out and bought the All's Well That Ends Well. This song was not on it. But I couldn't find The Heartless Control Everything EP. So I downloaded it. =[ Which makes me sad cause Chiodos is an amazing band.

But The Heartless Control Everything is on Search and Rescue. And All's Well That Ends Well is on Equal Vision. And The Heartless Control Everything was released under the name "The Chiodos Bros." So I am confused. Can someone help me figure this out?? It would be greatly appreciated.

It's very common for a band to duplicate the songs from album to album.

The Chiodos Bros. & Chiodos, are the same band, obviously. It's extreamly, extreamly rare to find copies of "The Heartless Control Everything" Most have to download it. That's why so many of the songs repeat from album to album.

But Chiodos is an amazing band, one of my all-time favorites. ^^

if you reverse the opening part to the song, where it sounds really odd, hes saying

"how does it make you feel to know youve taken someones smile?"

uhm, i think this song could be about two people who were in love, then one found someone better and left the other lover hanging. i could be way off and i just randomly came up with this 5 seconds after reading the lyrics so i'm probably wrong.

artistic anomaly: i think that is actually a reference to the william shakespeare play, 'much ado about nothing' in which there is a character named claudio. the play actually has a plot that has to do with infidelity of sorts, so it would make sense.

alright this is what i get from this song is that there was a guy who goes out with a girl who broke up with another guy and then the girl breaks the second guys heart and gets back with her ex

first starts off with "How does it make you feel to know you've taken someones smile?"
which obviously means that someone broke someone elses heart

"We're on a search to find the feeling For which we all die It appeared, the answer to the problem And a reason to smile" the feeling - being loved and the answer to the problem was for the girl to find another to love, which gave the second guy a reason to smile.

"Two lost hearts and one caught in the middle They came together and the other fell apart It appeared, the answer to the problem I have no reason to smile" The two lost hearts being the girl and her ex, the one in the middle being the second guy, the girl got back with her ex thus giving him no reason to smile.

"The connection, eyes meeting Lips touching" perhaps explaining the girl and her ex getting back together

"Mistakes made and forgiveness" being the mistake the girl and her ex had and them forgiving each other

"But the eyes still met, and the lover still loved And the liar still lied" i believe the eyes of the girl and her ex, and she still loved him and then lied to the second guy about being over her ex.

"Then came the downfall To one's heaven stuck In a world where nothing is beautiful" This is how the second guy felt when she got back with her ex.

"The nail was on the coffin It hadn't been buried Yet nothing but an open casket for him to kneel and weep" the nail on the coffin meaning the relationship of the girl and her ex, but it wasnt buried yet, and when they got back together he saw that there wasnt anything in it, meaning like, the girl still loved her ex and he shouldve seen it coming and actually checked into the "coffin"

"A lover and liar the pain finally stopping for him to try and take his own life And the blood of a body that was once so pure" he was so depressed by this that he tried to kill himself, and perhaps he hurt himself, something he had never done to his pure body.

"It's come together its time To change what the script reads There's no such thing as happy endings this masterpiece is finally ending slowly microphone psychiatry Good-bye for good" Basically saying that he realized that life isnt happy and that "there's no such thing as happy ending"

"Two lost hearts and one caught in the middle They came together and the other fell apart It appeared the answer to the problem I have no reason to smile" yet again restating the girl and her ex getting back together and his heart fell apart, it answered the girl and her ex's promblem, but left him with no reason to be smiling.

"Cravings fulfilled Hate on oneself Good-bye for good" the cravings of the girl for her ex he starts to hate her and whats happened and then he says good bye.

now i also think that at "The connection, eyes meeting Lips touching screaming 'sweet sianara' And the other gracious sounds of Claudio Sweat, spit and tears unchanged alike Mistakes made and forgiveness But the eyes still met, and the lover still loved And the liar still lied" that perhaps he saw the girl and her ex kiss or something like that(lips touching) and they fought(sweat, spit, and tears) but in the end she said it was a mistake and that she wouldnt do it again(making her a liar in the end) and he forgave her yet again, she cheated on him (making her a liar, and breaking his heart)

either way, this song is amazing i just love listening to it its just like whoah... Chiodos rock i was dissapointed because ToC came to my area and i checked like 2 weeks before and tickets were sold out, then like a couple days before it they changed venues and tons more tickets were being sold, but i didnt learn about that till the day after and i was like @$#%$%@#$% friend told me that she had bought her ticket 3 hours prior to the event and i was sad =[

the situation to seems that someone has cheated the other person because it says : Two lost hearts and one caught in the middle They came together and the other fell apart It appeared, the answer to the problem I have no reason to smile meaning that 2 people were in love but then someone cheated and they got stuck with 3 hearts but the orginal lover gets the bad end falls apart and cant smile since thier heart is now filled with anger

this song relates to me right now and is amazing

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
