We're Gonna Have Us A Champagne Jam Lyrics
Something she left in me remains imperfect
My heart, proceeded to it's banishment
The blame may hang upon your chest
I know all hearts dance with comforts
And the wounds I bear will not live in vain
I know hearts dance comforts
I stumbled when I saw your intention
I screamed 'from my eyes flow compassion for you!'
Hoping words could move you
That this place is an enemy, full of harsh words and hearsay
And if this city were to go down in flames would you think to blow it out
With such a weak breath or run about the streets
Run about the streets, crying confusion
My heart, proceeded to it's banishment
The blame may hang upon your chest
I know all hearts dance with comforts
And the wounds I bear will not live in vain
I know hearts dance comforts
I stumbled when I saw your intention
I screamed 'from my eyes flow compassion for you!'
Hoping words could move you
That this place is an enemy, full of harsh words and hearsay
And if this city were to go down in flames would you think to blow it out
With such a weak breath or run about the streets
Run about the streets, crying confusion

I feel like this song is about being betrayed and not knowing how to deal with it.
when craig says "from my eyes flow compassion for you" it means he still cares and loves the person but he cant because of what they did, and this causes a strong confusion because how can you care about someone who hurts you in such a bad way?
"That this place is an enemy, full of harsh words and hearsay And if this city were to go down in flames would you think to blow it out"
I think this part means that if the person that hurt him witnessed their relationship falling apart would they ever think to fix it before it is completely gone
For the most part i just think the song is about not be willing to let go of someone you truely care about even when you know their not treating you the way you deserve
piano solo in this song is cwazzy.
this song actually reminds me a lot of the night my mom went crazy. (i mean really crazy. she ended up in a mental health facility twice last year. she's bipolar.)
I can relate a lot to the chorus. it has that "deer in the headlights" kinda feel to it.
it's like "okay, i don't know why the hell you're doing what you're doing right now, but i will do anything to make you stop."
to me it doesn't seem so "oh why did you break up with me? woe is me!! insert dramatic music here"
it seems very hurried and scared and desperate which, at least to me, are feelings that run a lot deeper than "sad".
and the whole line with "this place is an enemy...etc." is actually a very good way of describing how you can attatch negative feelings to a place.
I still cry anytime i have to drive through the neighborhood my mom and i lived in last year. i mean, the environment in which bad things happen is where a lot of bad memories seem to come from.
this song really isn't as "la-ti-da" as people make it seem. it definately has something very genuine behind it. its a lot more universal than you would think.
to me, this song is about loving someone so much you'd be willing to do anything (even sacrafice your own happiness) to make things better for their situation.
Out of everyone's thoughts on this song, your's makes the most sense. Especially since Craig (vocalist) is bipolar.

this song is really good. like, really.
Realizing it's not that bad. Things like this happen all the time
i think maybe he wants to tell someone he forgives them. but idk..
I'm not sure what this song is about but it's very catchy.
Broken heart. Desperity. Love.
Wow...amazing song...I love it when his voice gets all soft and sweet.
umm maybe he is willing to forgive her and her mistake of what she's done to him.
i am guessing
