this songis basically saying that obviosuly , something has happened to where the guya nd the girl he loved aren't together , and now he's moved on and hated the girl for what she did to him , and is saying basically dont trust women because they are all monsters .
for example: " if i live to see you again , ill take out my eyes " he's saying that he never wants her in his life again .
I thought it was just saying women are worthless bitches and they're heartless monsters. I agree.

This song is actually directly taken from Shakespeare in the play King Lear Act III scene 7. It is when one of the characters Gloucester has his eyes gouged out and was betrayed by his own son who he thought he could trust. So I think it is about someone thinking they can trust someone or something to only find out once they are hurt that they where betraying them. Wow im digging all this Shakespeare stuff it is cool how many movies and songs are related and based of off it cool. Check it out if any of yall get a chance.

Failed friendship/relationship/drama can all lead to this. Specifically in this song it tells the story of a guy moving on and recalling his relationship, stating how she has become a monster in his eyes.
this song is fucking amazing!!! i seen Chiodos live in ann arbor...they were probly the best band i have ever seen live...craig owens (lead vocalist) kissed his hand and put it on my forehead...it was pretty weird...but aside from that THEY ARE FUCKING RAD!!!
