This may be way off, as I tend to interpret things differently than a lot of people...but I kind of see it as a guy and his parents...like he's trying to make them proud like it says in the song and then at the end it's saying that it's his life and that he's not gonna let them control it anymore? I don't know. Just a thought. :)

Thats actually how i interpreted it well... interpret it too, but i'm pretty sure they wrote it about a girl.

I don't know about that Skeletor. Lorene Drive's songs all seem to be about a guy/girl. But, you can interpret it any way you want.
