Music My Rock Lyrics
Down on the road, a shadow will fall,
The crowd moves it aside to the pressure and slide
We’ve got the roots in music my rock
In the storm that life blows, it’s the shelter that holds
In the morning brick by brick I have grown
And forget that card house, broke with a stone’s throw
The crowd moves it aside to the pressure and slide
In the storm that life blows, it’s the shelter that holds
And forget that card house, broke with a stone’s throw

Where the hell is the rest of the lyrics to this song?
Down on the road a shadow will fall the crowd moves it aside to the pressure and slide Put down your roots and your rhythm in drive I’ll lead to mountain tops this will never stop
Chorus: We’ve got the roots in music my rock In the storm that blows It’s the anchor that holds Play me some music Music my rock In the storm that blows It’s the shelter I know Yea
Play us some music, radio Something to go oh And bend in my soul Play some music, stereo Something to go low And bend in my soul
Chorus: We’ve got the roots in music my rock In the storm that blows It’s the anchor that holds Play me some music Music my rock In the storm that blows It’s a shelter I know Yea
My only women was a shadow and bone Come into my house Leave me alone But in the morning break by break I have grown And forget the cat house Broke with the stomp stomp Yeah
(Repeat Chorus 2 X)
This song really highlights how I feel about music. Great great band.
Actually, it should be "In the storm that LIFE blows.." my bad.
yeah, this is an amazing song, and an amazing band. when i feel down i listen to music and feel much better later. music played a big role for me just keeping sane during the whole shooting at virginia tech. yeah, i was there... wouldnt know how id be without music to ground me.
I think it's play us some roots. The second time around. And in the last verse its "But in the morning brick by brick I have grown and forget the courthouse broke with a stones throw"
oh yeah in the first verse it's "valley to mountaintop, this rhythm never stop"
the singer is saying how big and influencial music is to his life. He's saying that music is the only thing that's been stable to him.
