You breathe but the air seems to thin,
and you just keep on knocking but knowone let's you in.

You walk but your feet just feel like led,
you think you might not make it and have to start again.

And I speek but I can't control what I say, but I just keep beliving.

And all the things i've been watching every day, fliping threw the channels to pass the time away.

I've been in this world too many time now, and I know whats just around the bend, and if you never hear from me again I'm glad I had you as a friend.

This war will never end the captain said as he turned to his men who, lie dead in there cell.

Defending all he no longer understands
he still feels like a man.

I've been in this world too many time now, this time I think I seen the end,
and if you never hear from me again I'm glad I had you as a friend.

Not a lot of people heard this song or band because there from Halifax, Canada and most of you are Americans. But it's a great band and you should listen to there music. Ok back to the meaning. The meaning of this song is obious (i can't spell) it's about suicide. When you hear the first line you can tell what it's about.

I think it's about a spirit enhabiting a body who's fed up with this place but is thankful to have made friends.
