This an Iggy pop/Green Day song. Near the end Billie Joe does backup singing. Not a big fan of Iggy Pop but i love this song, atleast Iggy pop aren't as bad as U2 (talking about Green Day's latest duo song).

Iggy must have been high or loaded when he wrote this song. WTF is awesome about a "private hell." For one things, it's HELL. That's not good no matter how you sing it. And it's PRIVATE, which means feelin' like crap all alone, with nobody to share. I am NOT an Iggy fan, so I am the last person to critique his work fairly; I've always thought he was the most dysfunctional and retarded musician ever. He's so creepy that I would be truly frightened to be in a room alone with him. I've had sex in my lifetime and I would trade it all (even the HOT HOT sex) for love any day of the week. I'd must rather ravish someone I know and love and like than have a few hours or months with someone who's not overly important to me. And I surely would not brag about tolerating and surviving a "private hell" if something can be done to correct the situation. Iggy sux.
