this is a wicked song! i cant believe no one has commented on it yet. soo... basically i think its about a guy who wants his girl back. their in a fight or possibly broken up. and he wants to save her (maybe she has issues, or maybe he thinks by him being with her he is saving her?) who knows:)

Well the way i see it its basically this guy who likes this girl, but the feeling isnt exactly mutual. He really wants her but its almost like she's making him work hard to get her ("you give nothing for free"). But I also can see it in Vee_Sweet's way.
Nonetheless this is an amazing song, absolutely LOVE it! My fave. line would be...by FAR... "i watched you sleep so i could dram of you". Its just so beautiful.
I think its about....ok. Theres a guy and a girl. Theres a relationship, but it seems that the girl's heart isn't quite in it anymore. So the guy, he tells her that if she wants him to go cause she's pulling away, just to tell him and he'll go. BUT on the contrary, if she wants him to stay, if she just wants him...he could be the one for her, he could save her if she wanted him to. He'll go, but he doesn't want to. He's pleading with her to let him stay and let him make her happy and whatnot.
My interpretation.
the speaker doesn't think the girl feels the same way as he does. he has said all he could and now it's up to her to decide but he doesn't want her to feel obligated to be with him. he will deal with the consequences but he need the answer to move on.
they have had there ups and downs but he knows that she can be the one for him and vice-versa.
he keeps trying to find out how she feels and he's waiting for an answer but she isn't giving him an answer. he feels as if he needs to know right now because he can't wait any longer.
he is as committed as he was when their relationship started but if she wants it all to end, he will deal with it and won't try to influence the decision she made.
he reassures her that he really needs her to be with him and that he knows that she's the one.
***personally, this song reminds me of all my ups and downs with my girl and i can relate to the speaker. it's a bit emotional and obsessive but one my favorite songs by omnisoul.
