That Girl Suicide Lyrics
i can't explain all the things that i'm feeling
and when i look i don't know what i'm seeing
she say's relax
if i want you
we'll go slow
i close my eyes and
it all goes away though
what she wants is she wants me to no-no
it happens fast but the feeling is slow-mo
i know what
she wants
but she's never
going to get it
make up your mind or
you better forget it.
and when i look i don't know what i'm seeing
she say's relax
if i want you
we'll go slow
i close my eyes and
it all goes away though
what she wants is she wants me to no-no
it happens fast but the feeling is slow-mo
i know what
she wants
but she's never
going to get it
make up your mind or
you better forget it.

according to the liner notes in the BJM best of, the riff for this song comes from a slightly changed cover of Gary Neuman's "Cars".
the song is about (according to the diane perry tape recordings) " a poor thin girl who thinks she weights too much".
get the fuck off my stage zach
this song sounds like a girl that wants to commit suicide but with anton,
the lyrics for the methodrone version of this are different, but hard to hear so I'm not sure enough to post them...
dont know all the differences bout that other version on methodrone, aint got it here cause im not at my place, but i remember that one part's "what she wants is she wants me to go-go, i got turned off cause shes moving to slow-slow" i think...might be wrong but im gonna post it soon.....
Ive heard three differnent versions. The ones on Spacegirl and Methodrone are almost the same but the version on DIG! is completley dif...and in my opinion its the best of the three. Too bad its not on the albums. The lyrics on the DIG version go...
what you want is you want me you dont know you got turned off because its going too slow slow well i know what you want.. wont you just reach out and grab it?
Perhaps I am being too literal/metaphorical, yet is "That Girl Suicide" a muse/personification for/of suicidal ideation that the author is wanting to break up with before she moves in and unpacks all of her demons and wrecks his creativity? I dig DIG! and the wonderful soundtrack, but more importantly Anton's musical aesthetic. This is a gorgeous song and I have to wonder if the beauty is an affirmation of the desire to create, despite despair.
