outside Lyrics

Tell a lie... that's enough. Give me a story you've made up and I'll forgive you. I don't care what you said I said. It's all in your head... I'll never get you. And you're talking these things through like you know what you've been through, but there's not a lot of reason in the things that we believe in, so I'll believe in you. I am on the outside of truth and I'm looking in on you, but you're staining this town with fighting. You're staining this town with fighting. And I'm honest as a photo booth. I'm just playing off of you, but you're leaving me fast as lightning. You're leaving me just to spite me. Babe, it must be hard living in a castle. Counting Daddy's monies must be a hastle-- Proudly you can't abide. I probably should live a lie, but I've been taught that there's something more to living life than knowing scores. I'm proud to say I'm honest. Proud to say I'm right. Time out- I don't need this drama, but I will take you back anyday. I will take you back anyday. I'm out, all out of things to argue, but I will take you on any day. I will take you on.

First comment? As Peter Griffin would say "sweeeeeet"

This is such a beautiful song. I think its about a guy who loves a girl and she takes advantage of him but he always forgives her because he loves her so much. But finally he stands up to her and they break up. But then he realizes he doesn't care because he loves her so much.

"I don't need this drama, but I will take you back anyday. I will take you back anyday."

He just sing it so passionately

I love the emotion he puts in every line. This song just helps me vent my frustration. I walk to the ocean and scream the lyrics as if there will never be a tomorrow and as if my life is falling apart all over again.

Jack Of Hearts said all there is to be said about the meaning of the song. Awesome song and he is so young!

Personally though I forgot I had this song until earlier today when it randomly came up on my ipod. Interestingly enough, it captures my life right now.

"honest as a photo booth" i think that means that in a photo booth, you cant hide, you cant be two-faced, the camera will see right through you, and capture your true self. also once you step inside that photobooth your no longer in society your in your two minute world where anything can happen and moments are formed with the perosn in the booth.. true moments.

Jack of Hearts got the basic meaning.

It's about Ronnie Day and his girlfriend of 3 years. He really loved (loves) his girlfriend, but she broke up with him for a complete stranger. He wants to still get her back, even if she left, even after everything she's done, he still wouldn't care and take her back.
