Musical Orgasm....
perfection
My favorite song of theirs. It starts off with such a feeling of sadness that you feel like everything is hopeless. The haunting sound of the violin and cello really set the mood. Then all of a sudden everything seems to get better, That maybe there is hope after all. In my opinon its a song about overcoming your problems or depression, showing that things do get better if can just hold on.
nvsf i see it like that also. i also feel like right at the 4:58 mark god speed is saying sorry for putting us thought that dark momment and in return giving us something awesome
I am alive
To give a little insight to why the song is called Moya, Mike Moya was one of the 3 GY!BE founding members. And this album, A Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada, was his last album with the band before leaving to work on other projects.
I kind of get a different feeling. It starts out the way as you guys see it, but it ends different.
For me it seems to be depressing at the begging. But at the same time it's not a "Whoa is me! The world is ending!" type of thing. Just... depressing. And a bit it starts to pick up an it feels like everything is going to be ok. Then after a few minutes it quickly picks up even more, but the music is more chaotic. To me it's almost like going back to the depression, only everything is escalating out of control.
As weird as it might sound, this song in a way actually was one of the reasons I thought of the book Im writting right now. When I listen to music with out words, sometimes I kind of picture stories. Sometimes with out even thinking about it. The way I described the song is basically the way the story gos.
I would probably have to say that this is the best GY!BE song.
