Warflower Lyrics
rain falling around me
can't tell if weather is warm
or why I am cold?
fame falls all around me
can't tell if I should just hide or run
some people hold onto their misery,
a token of their lives
painted faces, warlike, they march on
feel the end near, blinding and screaming
for blood they'd do anything
got two tickets to Peridon, just can't sleep
I've got no reason to worry 'cause it's just a dream
on my way to the classroom
lit the fire
it's a burning desire
murder
water is needed
hate seems always following
can't tell if I can run, can't find my way outside
hate seems always following
can't tell if I should just run or hide
some people hold onto their misery
a token of their lives
painted faces, warlike, they march on
feel the end near, blinding and screaming
for blood they'd do anything
got two tickets to Peridon, just can't sleep
I've got no reason to worry 'cause it's just a dream
on my way to the classroom
lit the fire
it's a burning desire
murder
water is needed...

After hours of cryptic deciphering, I have found out that this song is about Columbine and is told from the perspective of one of the shooters and a deceased victim. Columbine is a type of flower and that lines up with the title "Warflower". The victim is running towards the classroom and does not now if this is real or a dream. Hate is dead bodies all around the victim. Two tickets for the two shooters and Peridon being a type of afterlife. That's just me though.
I enjoy reading these comments but really, some of you guys are kinda outlandish in your interpretations. The song is actually about the VitaminWater company back when it used to be called "MurderWater." The narrator of the song is thirsty, you know, he's on his way walking to school, he didn't get enough sleep, he even went through the trouble to light a fire. After all these troubles the man is tired and dehydrated. That's where MurderWater comes in -- it has hydration (i.e., water) and vitamins for focus, you see. "Murder Water is needed!" If the song came out nowadays the lyric would be changed to "VitaminWater is NEEDED!" Glad I could set the record straight with my accurate interpretation. Peace out.
Such an awesome song, thanks for the lyrics.
The band have now split by the way. Shame.
Ray Ray's and Kurt Cobain's lyrics, vocies and styles are really similar. I wish they both still alive and keep doing good work. R.I.P Ray, R.I.P Kurt.
I think the song is about 2 personalities which the narrator (a student / pupil) is host of. One personality is about to set the classroom on fire. The other is the "good one".
"Peridon Plus 2 mg/2 mg Tablet belongs to the drug group known as atypical antipsychotic, used in the treatment of psychotic disorders. This medication can treat schizophrenia and manic depression, both symptoms of bipolar disorder."
Got 2 tickets to peridon - the narrator has to take pills against his schizophrenia. His other personality "just can' sleep" - he is awake and "on the way to the classroom". The good part of him "got no reason to worry cause it's just a dream", so he actually is asleep and does not realize his other personality is about to kill his fellow students / bullies.
"on my way to the classroom lit the fire it's a burning desire "
He sat the classroom on fire.
"murder water is needed"
Here the "good personality" suddenly wakes up in alarm: murder, water is needed to put out the fire (literally in the classroom but maybe also the burning desire for blood of the "angry personality").
I think the reason why the person has issues might be because he is bullied in school :
"hate seems always following can't tell if I can run, can't find my way outside hate seems always following can't tell if I should just run or hide some people hold onto their misery a token of their lives painted faces, warlike, they march on feel the end near, blinding and screaming for blood they'd do anything"
Hate is following him, and threatens his life, so the "angry" personalities feels like he's at war and wants vengeance.
Nice to see some comments on TMF, this is such a beautiful, emotive, powerful song. All these lyrics are fans interpretations from the community at themayanfactor.com/forum
Oh yeah, will try to get some lyrics from their latest release, 44 up sometime too.
They are back together and playing out!!! Amazing music, presence and people. They've created quite the following.
What is Peridon?
Is it the drug called "Peridone"?

I didn't know either. After couple of months of listening, I'm sure it's heaven, but it's not. It's some kind of it. Some not specified mysterious land. Maybe one day, we will see it. http://thematadesign.deviantart.com/art/Peridon-196893457

@SteeleDream could be pa·re·dón. Meaning “a wall” or “place of execution”. If the song is about columbine those two idiots have a special place in hell.
