Mrs. Butterworth's Indestructible Bombshelter Lyrics
Mrs. Butterworth tried for the fourth time today to get her ass out of bed but I don't have to explain 'cause it's the way things go and it's the way things change, the way things are and they always stay the same. So, Mrs. Butterworth, did I mention it seems like you're dying?
When she talks to me every once in a while she tries to laugh, she tries to smile. Tries to hold back the tears, but she knows they always come. You'll die, you'll burn, you'll fry, and you'll learn you can't trust no one, that was my mistake, while everybody's fighting for their own little piece of the cake.
IT TOOK TWO YEARS, BUT SHE FINISHED IT, FINALLY IT STOOD! SHE HAD NO HOME AND YOU GOT NO JOB, FINALLY IT STOOD! MRS. BUTTERWORTH'S SHELTER, IT TOOK TWO YEARS BUT SHE FINISHED IIIIIIIT.
When she talks to me every once in a while she tries to bleed she tries to smile. Tries to hold back the tears, but she knows they always come. You'll die, you'll burn, you'll fry, and you'll learn you can't trust no one, that was my mistake, when everybody's fighting for their own little piece of the cake.
GO!
And when she's HAPPY, she'll die alone, finally she's won. She was before but no one could tell, finally she's done. Everytime I see her. It's been a sad life but can't she see
Sometimes I wonder, where could she be now? Did she make it up to heaven or is she still around me? I guess I'll never know. Is she near me, in me, for me, with me? A sad sad soul but she had to had to go, but I never really told her she was more than the world to me.
GO!
Mrs. Butterworth cried for the last time today, it was early in the morning it was only three AM. But I came so quick and I ran to her side. I barely got there quick enough to see her close her eyes(/the lights?) for the last time. So why'd you have to go away? Sometimes I wonder, where could she be now? Did she make it up to heaven or is she still around me? I guess I'll never know. Is she near me, in me, for me, with me? A sad sad soul but she had to had to go, but I never really told her she was more than the world to me.

This is my favorite song ever.
I finally got my hands this album today, and ill have to say, this is my favortite song on the album. I never met (so to speak) a person (kalnoky) who writes songs about anti-suicide and life lessons at the age of 15!
by the way, was mrs. butterworth a real person like sergio and kristina were?
jeez i wish there were more gimp/anything-written-by-tomas-kalnoky fans out there.
imhoterror... Mrs butterworth is a brand of syrups and pancake mixes :P The bottle is 'grandma' shaped
That doesn't mean there wasn't an old lady this song wasn't based on.
It's too bad no one knows about Kalnoky. I just love his lyrics.
Hey, does anyone know where I could find tabs for this song? It's by far my favorite Gimp song. I can't belive a fifteen-year-old could write this stuff..
buttersworth is actually the name of the syrup. not butterworth.
This song always makes me want to cry.... An old lady who hides herself away, has no family. She is hurt inside and he goes to help her... so sad...
I love the latest Streetlight album as well. And I like the Gimp version of supernothing more than the Catch 22/Streetlight version.
The best part is that this song wasn't written when he was fifteen.
It was written when he was nine.
what part was written when he was nine?
