I believe the other comments on this song has got it wrong, i believe this song is about a guy who is friend a girl who keeps telling him EVERYTHING even the little most disgusting details so he gets way to much information. THIS IS NOT a song about a guy in the friendzone or anything like that he shows no sign that he is interested in dating her at all SHE IS JUST A FRIEND he is not jealous of ANYTHING
one of the reasons i love this song because i grew up playing a game called Thrillville: Off The Rails and this song was in it and its a great song

I'll make this easy for everyone. This song is about my ex-girlfriend, now ex wife. She was dating a guy that very good friends with the singer (I forgot his name). The guy asked him to write a song named Maureen and he did for him as a favor. She talks a lot and is very into herself and shares details (She used to have sex in the back of cars in public for fun etc...) So the song is pretty accurate, except the real Maureen isn't quite as crazy.

so catchy..just a really great song. I think its about a guy who really likes this girl, but hates how she always tells him every detail of her life because it makes him jealous. He thinks that she thinks of him as a friend..but nothing more.
I can't believe that more people haven't commented this song.
So, the guy in this song really likes a girl..... but she can't stop talking. It makes me laugh because I'm like that, a total chatterbox. :)
