May I say that I've only just recently started getting into DevilDriver and I fucking love them. Dez did a good thing in moving on from Coal Chamber (even though I am a fan of the late band).
This song sounds to me like a guy is just about to snap at all the stress and tension he is experiencing. He's tossing up whether to just walk away from it all and give in, or stand up and fight and go off at society...obviously favouring the fight and not flight.
i agree with that, i think he has reached a point where he cant take anymore, and he can either change and fight it or drown in all of it, deffiantly leaning towards the change,

I definately think it is about someone going to snap. Especially when they say this solitude, my solitude and they talk about someone being under the gun and shit. It's awesome, all the kings must fall!
I agree with the rest of you, but maybe this song is just all about raising hell...Crowds do tend to go nuts when this song is played live...
im not sure why but the first thing to comes to mind when i think about this song is a bank robery, never the less when i think about it long and hard i have to agree with the comments above this one and say its mostly about a normal person just snaps under the pressure of it all and just raises hell, or about raising hell in general
